Detectives looking for Key Peninsula pot dispensary robber
Detectives are trying to figure out who robbed a Key Peninsula marijuana dispensary last month with a knife and hammer.
A man held the knife to an employee about 5:30 p.m. Sept. 22 at KP Medicinals, 1809 Key Peninsula Highway North, according to Tacoma-Pierce County Crime Stoppers.
He took cash from the register and left on foot, headed south, Pierce County sheriff’s detectives said.
The robber is described as white, about 5 feet 7, with a medium build and a raspy voice.
He was wearing green camouflage pants, a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, a black ski mask, blue latex gloves, blue tennis shoes with neon green soles, and he was carrying a camouflage backpack.
Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Tips are anonymous and can lead to a reward.
