Man arrested after father is stabbed in Federal Way

Officers arrested a man Saturday in Federal Way accused of stabbing his father several times.

The 50-year-old father had surgery and is stable but seriously injured, Federal Way police spokeswoman Cathy Schrock said Sunday.

He was attacked by his 23-year-old son shortly before 8 p.m. in the 32200 block of 14th Avenue Southwest, according to police.

Schrock said the son fled out a window but was quickly found and booked into jail.
