Arson suspected in fire at vacant Tacoma home
A fire at a vacant Tacoma home Thursday is being investigated as a possible arson, police said.
Police spokeswoman Loretta Cools gave this account:
A witness reported seeing a man break a window of the house about 12:30 p.m. in the 4000 block of McKinley Avenue East and start a fire inside.
No one was hurt.
The witness described the man as black, between 20 and 30 years old, 5 feet 8, thin, and wearing dark clothing.
Police did not have any suspects in custody Thursday evening.
