A pedestrian hit by a car in Spanaway last month has died, the Washington State Patrol said Monday.
Troopers said Stuart Limehouse of Fircrest died Thursday at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma.
Limehouse, 59, was in a crosswalk about 5:45 p.m. Nov. 19 at state Route 7 and 176th Street South when a northbound car hit him, according to the State Patrol.
The driver, 20-year-old Hope Fletcher of Graham, was driving under the influence, troopers said, and initially pleaded not guilty to vehicular assault.

Prosecutors plan to amend that charge to vehicular homicide.
According to charging papers:
Fletcher’s 2-year-old daughter was in the car, and was not hurt. Limehouse’s skull was fractured, and he went into surgery after he was struck.
A trooper who spoke with Fletcher said he could smell intoxicants on her breath, and that she showed signs of impairment during sobriety tests.
