Car crashes into Lakewood gym; man suffers minor injuries

A man suffered minor injuries Friday when he was struck by a woman’s car after she drove it into a Lakewood gym.

KIRO-TV reported the man was on an elliptical, one of four machines damaged in the accident that happened around 5:30 p.m. at Anytime Fitness.

The driver went through the front of the building after colliding with another vehicle, Lakewood police told KIRO.

Nobody was arrested in the incident and the injured man will receive a free lifetime membership from the gym, according to the report.

The gym was back open Saturday.
