Man seriously wounded in Kent shooting

A man was seriously wounded late Thursday after he was shot at a Kent apartment complex, police said.

The shooting took place about 10 p.m. at Somerset Apartment Homes, 25220 109th Court SE.

Police did not release details about what led up to the shooting.

One man was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with critical injuries.

No arrest has been made.

It was unclear whether the shooter fled on foot or in a vehicle. Several bullets hit car windows and at least one hit the complex.
