Franklin Pierce High School increases security Friday
Franklin Pierce High School students saw more security during classes Friday after the school found graffiti with threatening language on a boys’ bathroom wall.
School officials said the threat did not appear credible but the school was in modified lockdown for the day as a precaution. Doors to the school were locked, and passing periods between classes were more closely supervised.
Additional security staff were at the school at 11002 18th Ave. E., just south of Midland.
