Sex offender registrations in Pierce County

The following convicted sex offenders have recently registered to live in Pierce County.

Each is categorized as a Level 3 sex offender — those considered most likely to commit similar crimes. None is wanted by law enforcement officers at this time.

All convicted sex offenders registered to live in Tacoma and Pierce County are listed on the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department’s website at piercesheriff.org.

Raymond Patee

Age: 30.

Description: 6 feet 2 and 280 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Where registered to live: 2000 block of East Morton Street, Tacoma.

Criminal history: Convicted in 2001 of sexual battery in Sacramento for sexually assaulting a 7-year-old boy. Convicted in 2001 of first-degree child rape and first-degree child molestation in Pierce County for assaulting a 6-year-old boy.

Sex offender treatment: Did not complete a treatment program while incarcerated.

Jamie C. Gibbs

Age: 53.

Description: 5 feet 9 and 185 pounds, bald and brown eyes.

Where registered to live: Transient in Pierce County.

Criminal history: Convicted in 1981 of second-degree rape in Pierce County for forcing a 15-year-old girl to take a pill before repeatedly raping her with a friend.

Sex offender treatment: Unknown whether he participated in a treatment program while incarcerated.

Other crimes: Has prior convictions for simple assault, first-degree theft, failure to register as a sex offender, possession of stolen property and unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

Arthur G. Parry

Age: 58.

Description: 5 feet 11 and 180 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes.

Where registered to live: 900 block of South M Street, Tacoma.

Criminal history: Convicted in 1997 of first-degree child rape in Pierce County for sexually assaulting a 5-year-old boy. Has five convictions for failing to register as a sex offender in Pierce County.

Sex offender treatment: Did not complete a a treatment program while incarcerated.
