Former private school coach pleads not guilty to voyeurism

A former coach at a private Tacoma high school pleaded not guilty Friday in Pierce County Superior Court to accusations he surreptitiously watched student-athletes change their clothes in a school locker room.

Anthony Natalie Jr., 38, is charged with one count of voyeurism.

Court Commissioner Meagan Foley released Natalie on his own recognizance pending trial.

Prosecutors allege in court documents that Natalie, who coached soccer and worked as a teacher at Evergreen Lutheran High School, peeped into the girl’s locker room from the window of an adjacent storage room.

Natalie, who resigned when the allegations came to light, was charged earlier this month and summoned to court Friday.
