Sex offender registrations
The following convicted sex offenders have recently registered to live in Pierce County.
Each is categorized as a Level 3 sex offender — those considered most likely to commit similar crimes. None is wanted by law enforcement officers at this time.
All convicted sex offenders registered to live in Tacoma and Pierce County are listed on the Sheriff’s Department’s website at piercesheriff.org.
Dustin Case
Age: 28.
Description: 5 feet 6 and 167 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
Where registered to live: 2500 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Tacoma.
Criminal history: Convicted in 2004 of first-degree child rape in Pierce County for being sexually involved with two boys, ages 10 and 11. Convicted in 2007 of first-degree child molestation for having sexual contact with an 8-year-old girl.
Sex offender treatment: Participated in a treatment program while incarcerated.

Eric L. Smith
Age: 26.
Description: 6 feet 1 and 205 pounds, black hair and brown eyes.
Where registered to live: Transient in Pierce County.
Criminal history: Convicted in 2004 on two counts of first-degree child rape and first-degree child molestation for repeatedly raping a girl who he sometimes handcuffed.
Sex offender treatment: Did not participate in a treatment program while incarcerated.

Marvin Easley
Age: 53.
Description: 5 feet 7 and 175 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Where registered to live: 1800 block of East Harrison Street, Tacoma.
Criminal history: Convicted in 2011 of third-degree rape in King County for sexually assaulting a developmentally disabled woman. Convicted in 1990 of rape in Indiana for sexually assaulting a woman.
Sex offender treatment: Did not participate in a treatment program while incarcerated.

Gerald Johnston
Age: 51.
Description: 6 feet 8 and 290 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
Where registered to live: 1900 block of Milwaukee Way, Tacoma.
Criminal history: Convicted in 1990 of second-degree sexual abuse and first-degree sodomy in Marion County, Oregon, for luring and sexually assaulting a developmentally delayed boy.
Sex offender treatment: Did not participate in a treatment program while incarcerated.
