Fatal crash closes SR 165 near Wilkeson
A 53-year-old man died after being thrown from a car that crashed near Wilkeson on Thursday.
The one-car rollover occurred about 7:50 p.m. on state Route 165 just north of Wilkeson, state trooper Todd Bartolac reported.
Robert Baker, whose hometown was not immediately available, was hurled nearly 40 feet after the car left the road in the 14700 block of Route 165 and landed in a ditch.
The cause of the wreck was under investigation.
