Dispute in Tacoma sees two men charged with first-degree assault
Two men are in jail on charges of first-degree assault after a late-night neighborhood dispute Saturday ended with death threats and the showing of a gun, Tacoma police spokeswoman Loretta Cool said.
According to Cool:
A man honking his car horn on the 4300 block of South Puget Sound Street drew another man out of his house to see what was happening. When the resident emerged, his neighbor threw a handful of rocks toward him before getting into the car with three other people.
When the car drove by, the driver waved a gun and threatened to kill the resident.
The resident called police, who stopped the described car a short distance away. The resident then identified the occupants as the perpetrators.
