Man robs U.S. Bank branch in Puyallup
A man robbed a U.S. Bank branch in Puyallup on Monday before fleeing, according to Puyallup police.
The man did not show a weapon about 2:05 p.m. when he demanded money from a teller at the bank, 222 39th Ave. SE, Capt. Bob Thompson wrote in a news release.
The robber wore a black hat, black sunglasses and a brown jacket, and spoke with a Latino accent, Thompson wrote. The man ran to a waiting vehicle, described as a newer dark blue SUV, possibly a Jeep model.
Surveillance cameras captured images of the man.
