Man arrested in Puyallup bank robbery
Puyallup police arrested a man Wednesday on suspicion of robbing a bank Monday, and they say he robbed the same bank in 2010.
The man, who was arrested at a Parkland motel about 1 p.m., is believed to have robbed the U.S. Bank at 222 39th Ave. SE at 2 p.m. Monday.
Surveillance images released by Puyallup police led to tips that detectives followed to find him at the motel, spokesman Capt. Scott Engle said.
The man is also believed to have robbed an Umpqua Bank in University Place and a KeyBank in Federal Way, Engle said.
“He’s got a significant criminal history and he’s not very bright,” Engle said.
