A naked, drunken Pierce County man stabbed his adult stepson in the head with a kitchen knife Friday after a disagreement over the man’s nudity, according to charging documents.
The 56-year-old man was booked in jail and charged with second-degree assault with enhancements for domestic violence and using a deadly weapon.
According to the charging documents:
The man, nude and drunken, came downstairs, prompting an argument with the stepson over why the man was naked.
The argument lasted about an hour. At its conclusion, the man went to the garage and turned off the power to the house.
As the stepson sat on the couch, waiting for the cable TV box to reset, the man came from behind him and stabbed him in the head.
The stepson left the house and called 911.
Sheriff’s deputies found the stepson bleeding from a laceration on his head.
When deputies asked the older man, about what happened, he replied in slurred speech, “My wife and the one I stabbed in the head are inside.”
He was arrested, and a knife was taken as evidence.
