Orting meeting will cover district budget
The Orting School District Board of Directors will hold a public meeting at 5 p.m. Aug. 25 at the district’s Central Office, 121 Whitesell St. NE. The district budget will be discussed, and budget information is available to the public at the central office.
Puyallup superintendent earns leadership award
The University Council for Educational Administration recently recognized Puyallup School District Superintendent Tim Yeomans with a national Excellence in Educational Leadership award.
The University of Washington College of Education presented him with the award for his ongoing commitment to leadership development of aspiring school and district-level leaders. Yeomans was nominated by the college.
Sumner board meeting will move to Lakeridge
The Sumner School District has moved its board meeting to a new location. It will begin at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Lakeridge Middle School’s sixth-grade commons.
