Federal Way school in lockdown

Valhalla Elementary School in the Federal Way School District is in an external lockdown due to police activity in the area. School officials said the lockdown is a precautionary measure and that staff and students are safe.

Officials asked parents not to call or come to school. They promised to keep parents up to date via a call-out system and through the district website, www.fwps.org.
