You’ll hear lots of noise and see an increase in low-flying aircraft around Joint Base Lewis-McChord for the next two weeks.

Starting Monday, June 22 through Wednesday, July 1, the 75th Ranger Regiment will be conducting exercises between JBLM and Satsop Nuclear Power Plant in Elma.

The base warns people of evening traffic and noise as helicopters and tilt-rotor aircraft transport soldiers to and from JBLM and Satsop.

The regiment also will use training ammunition during the exercise.

Residents seeking additional information can contact the 75th Ranger Regiment Public Affairs Office at 706-545-4260 or 706-604-5114.
