Rollover wreck blocking state Route 167 near state Route 410
A wreck involving a rolled over vehicle is blocking two lanes of southbound state Route 167, just south of state Route 410, the Washington State Patrol is reporting.
Traffic is getting by the scene on the shoulder of the road, the Washington State Department of Transportation is reporting.
The accident involves two vehicles.
The accident occurred when two northbound vehicles on SR 167 collided. The collision sent a vehicle spinning into the center median, said WSP Trooper Johnna Batiste.
That car eventually rolled into the southbound lanes. A person had to be extricated by emergency crews from that vehicle and was transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Batiste said.
As of 5:45 p.m., the backup on southbound SR 167 is as far north as Ellingson Road.
The causing driver was cited for negligent driving.
