Tacoma police say they are investigating a serious injury collision Thursday afternoon
Tacoma Police Department officers are investigating a “serious injury accident” Thursday afternoon on South 74th Street.
Westbound land of traffic are closed near the 4600 block of South 74th, the department announced about 2:54 p.m. on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.
4 p.m. update: Police are investigating the incident as a reckless driving auto-pedestrian collision. There are no suspects outstanding. Both east and westbound traffic on South 74th Street between Verde Street and 52nd Avenue West are closed.
