A vehicle hit a pedestrian Wednesday morning, and an investigation has begun in Parkland.

The left lanes of northbound and southbound state Route 7 near 112th Street South are blocked.

The pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital, Washington State Patrol trooper John Dattilo told The News Tribune.

The driver was not impaired, and there are no criminal charges expected, Dattilo said on X.
