Chinook Pass will reopen Friday as the summer season approaches and snow continues to melt.

The pass that takes state Route 410 through the Cascades will reopen at 8 a.m. There will be minor construction delays, but most of the washout is complete, according to the WSDOT X account for Snoqualmie Pass.

After Friday, all of state Route 410, which closes at Chinook Pass each winter, will be open, the account said.

The Chinook Pass provides access to several popular hiking trails, including the Sheep Lake and Naches Peak trailheads.
