A crash between a car and semi-truck on I-5 in Tacoma left one man dead Thursday night.

A Seattle man was driving his 2010 black Acura on northbound I-5 just south of Pacific Avenue about 11:20 p.m. when he lost control of his car. The Acura struck a semi-truck that was driving in the second lane. The car then struck the left side barrier, according to a Washington State Patrol news release.
