Traffic alert: Collision has traffic backed up 6 miles on southbound state Route 167
A collision on southbound state Route 167 has traffic backed up over six miles from 84th Avenue in Kent to near state Route 18 in Auburn.
The two right lanes are blocked from the collision near state Route 18, according to a post on X from the state Department of Transportation at 2:38 p.m. A post at 3:38 p.m. said the HOV bypass lane and ramps are open.
It’s not clear yet when lanes will reopen. The department recommends drivers use alternate routes.
