2:35 p.m. update: Police activity has been cleared.

Original post: Police activity is causing delays on westbound state Route 16 across the Tacoma Narrows Bridge on Tuesday.

The activity was reported at 1:30 p.m. The left lane is blocked, according to the Washington Department of Transportation.

Westbound traffic is backed up to Pearl Street in Tacoma as of 2:10 p.m.
