Police activity delays evening traffic, blocks lanes on Narrows Bridge in both directions

Traffic is backed up on the Tacoma Narrows Bridge on state Route 16 due to police activity, the Washington State Department of Transportation posted on X.

Police activity at milepost 7.5 on westbound state Route 16 near the east end of the bridge, is causing the delay, and the right lane is closed, according to a post at 7:21 p.m.
