Alert: Collision on state Route 16 in Tacoma blocks several lanes Tuesday morning
A crash on state Route 16 in Tacoma has caused traffic backups Tuesday morning.
Three lanes are blocked at milepost 0.41 near South Sprague Avenue, the Washington State Department of Transportation reported at 9:32 a.m.
Three vehicles were involved in the crash. One person was reportedly taken to a local hospital with non-critical injuries, Washington State Patrol Trooper John Dattilo told The News Tribune.
10:15 a.m. update: The crash has been cleared up, according to WSDOT.
