Commuters traveling through Kent on Interstate 5 should expect delays following a crash early Monday morning.

The right lane on I-5 just north of South 272nd Street is blocked from the crash, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

“Between regular morning traffic and this collision, we are seeing about 5 miles of back ups,” according to WSDOT Traffic’s X account.

Update: The roadway has cleared, WSDOT said in an updated post.
