Update, 7:40 p.m.: The wreck has cleared and all lanes are re-opened, per WSDOT, though it might take some time for traffic to clear out.

Update, 7:15 p.m.: WSDOT reports on X that tow trucks are enroute to remove damaged vehicles. Only the right lane remains blocked.

Original post: A multi-vehicle crash involving at least one tractor-trailer was blocking westbound State Route 512 near Canyon Road on Monday evening.

“State patrol and Fire are on scene. Seek alternate routes while we work to clear the road. Backup is to Meridian,” the Washington State Department of Transportation reported on X about 6:40 p.m.

The wreck occurred about 6 p.m. and was blocking all lanes of westbound SR 512, WSDOT reported.
