A car went off the roadway, prompting a partial ramp closure in Sumner.

The westbound State Route 410 ramp near Valley Avenue East is partially blocked in order to recover the car, according to Washington State Patrol Trooper Daniel Southard on X at 2:31 p.m.

A photo shared by Southard shows the car in a thicket of leaves and near some trees.

Southard said the driver was the only person in the car. He was cited for “exceeding a reasonable safe speed for the roadway conditions.”
