Traffic update: Two-car crash on Interstate 5 near Lakewood cleared
A crash southbound on Interstate 5 near Lakewood has blocked two lanes Friday afternoon.
The crash occurred near South 84th Street, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation at 1:40 p.m.
Two right lanes are blocked.
It was initially reported that a two-car crash between a van and Honda SUV happened in one lane. Tacoma police then advised it was two lanes, State Patrol spokesperson Trooper Kameron Watts told The News Tribune.
A 60-year-old man complained of minor injuries. No one was taken to a hospital. Both vehicles had to be towed, Watts said.
Update: This crash has cleared.
