Traffic alert: Five-car pileup on State Route 512 blocks right lanes

A five-car pileup on westbound State Route 512 is partially blocking traffic and sent one person to the hospital with serious injuries Thursday night, State Trooper Kameron Watts posted on X.

The causing driver was arrested for vehicular assault, the post said.

The collision took place at milepost 10.08 near South Meridian Avenue at 5:50 p.m., WSDOT shared on X. The two right lanes are blocked. Lane 1 will be closed with no estimated time of reopening.
