A four-car pileup near the State Route 512 interchange is snarling traffic on southbound Interstate 5 Wednesday, the Washington Department of Transportations shared on X.

Four cars collided with each other around 2:30 p.m., blocking lanes one and two, Trooper Kameron Watts told The News Tribune. One woman from the third-involved vehicle reported minor injuries and was sent to the hospital.

Stop-and-go traffic stretches over four miles from the crash site to the State Route 16 interchange on I-5, according to the WSDOT Travel Center Map at 4:22 p.m.

No arrests have been made. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
