Update: Tacoma crash that reduced traffic to one lane cleared

Update: This crash has cleared, according to WSDOT Tacoma on X.

The crash occurred between two cars, a blue Subaru and white GMC Acadia. A 2-year-old child was taken to Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital as a precaution, Washington State Patrol spokesperson trooper Kameron Watts told The News Tribune.

No one else was injured. Both vehicles were towed.

The crash occurred on state Route 16 eastbound near South 19th Street, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation at 7:49 a.m.
