Traffic backed up on Interstate 5 northbound after morning crash near Fife

Traffic is backed up on Interstate 5 northbound after a crash earlier this morning near Milton and Fife.

According to an X post from the Washington State Department of Transportation, the crash happened at about 5:58 a.m. near milepost 139, Porter Way. The four left lanes were blocked.

At 7:11 a.m., WSDOT posted that the collision had been cleared.

WSDOT’s traffic cameras and real-time traffic map were still showing back-ups in the area as of 8:02 a.m.
