Head-on wreck at busy Puyallup intersection injures three, firefighters say

Three people are injured from a crash at a Puyallup intersection Wednesday morning.

Firefighters are on scene at Ninth Street Southwest and 39th Avenue Southwest for the two-car head-on crash. The crash resulted in moderate damage, Central Pierce Fire & Rescue District Chief Ron Kent told The News Tribune.

The crash was reported at 11:48 a.m.

The crash did not result in serious injuries. The road is expected to clear soon, Puyallup Police Department spokesperson Captain Kevin Gill told The News Tribune via email about 12:30 p.m.
