Two injured after collision in Tacoma

A two-car collision is blocking traffic at the intersection of Yakima Avenue and South 15th Street in Tacoma.

Chelsea Shepherd, spokesperson for Tacoma Fire, told The News Tribune they are transporting two patients with minor injuries to a nearby hospital. The call came in at about 11:23 a.m.

Shepherd said the intersection is blocked off.

Shelbie Boyd, spokesperson for the Tacoma Police Department, told The News Tribune there were no deaths in the collision.
