A fire on Interstate 5 northbound is blocking lanes in Lakewood.

According to an alert from the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT), the fire started at about 3:45 p.m. by milepost 125 near Bridgeport Way Southwest.

The right lane is blocked, the alert said, and the off-ramp to Bridgeport is closed.
