A Lakewood intersection is closed after a collision damaged a power pole at 108th Street and Pacific Highway.

According to a 5:39 a.m. Facebook post from the Lakewood Police Department, the collision happened earlier this morning and the intersection will be closed until repairs are finished.

Power outage maps for Puget Sound Energy and Tacoma Public Utilities don’t show mass outages as a result of the collision.

The News Tribune has reached out to the Lakewood Police Department to ask what time the collision happened and for further details.

“Please avoid this area and find alternate routes until further notice,” the post said.
