Tacoma crash causes I-5 backups into Federal Way

A multiple-car crash caused backups Tuesday on southbound Interstate 5 from near East L Street, all the way into Federal Way.

The state Department of Transportation said about 2:45 p.m. that the wreck was blocking three lanes of the freeway.

No one was seriously injured, State Patrol spokesman Guy Gill said.
