Love Mario Kart? Now you can play at these 4 airports with pop-up Nintendo lounges

People passing through four U.S. airports could play Mario Kart and battle monsters while they wait for their flights.

Nintendo announced this week that it is launching Nintendo Switch On The Go pop-up lounges in airports across the country, a Nintendo news release said.

The lounges give people a chance to test out popular games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, according to the news release.

“With a vast library of exciting entertainment to launch into, we hope travelers discover that Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite make great companions for their trips,” Nick Chavez, Nintendo of America’s senior vice president of sales and marketing, said in a news release.

People who visit the lounges can order a Switch or Switch Lite system with a free carrying care, as well as some games.

The lounges will be in four U.S. airports: Dulles International Airport in Washington, D.C., Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, O’Hare International Airport in Chicago and Dallas Love Field Airport.

“Spending time with Nintendo games at our On The Go lounges will give people the opportunity to begin or end their journeys with a smile,” Chavez said in the news release.

The lounge at the Dallas airport is already open, and the others are slated to open on Monday. All will remain open through March 29.
