Mile-long ‘path of destruction’ leads to woman holding stalks of rhubarb, WA cops say
A woman led officers on a 1-mile “path of destruction” along Washington businesses, police said.
The woman is accused of damaging the windows of multiple establishments in Seattle on Sunday, March 27, the Seattle Police Department said.
Officers responded to the call around 3:19 p.m.
They followed the damaged businesses to find a woman carrying three stalks of rhubarb, police said, and she tried fleeing when officers attempted to stop her.
She was arrested and booked into the King County Jail for investigation of burglary and malicious mischief.
Multiple witnesses identified the woman as the person they saw damaging property, police said.
No one was reported injured.
