‘Cast Away’ producer lists flashy California estate for $10.5 million. Take a look
If the interior of a home can be considered “sexy,” then this Beverly Hills, California, property, that’s on the real estate market for $10.5 million, can be described as such.
The six-bedroom, seven-bathroom estate is owned by Hollywood bigwig producer Jack Rapke, who is responsible for such movies as “Cast Away” and “The Polar Express,” Forbes says.
The stylish 8,129-square-foot residence was first listed in January for $13.5 million, the Los Angeles Times reported, but the price has since dropped.
Designed by William Hefner, a popular west coast architect, the stunning home boasts spectacular panoramic views of Los Angeles and has a plethora of high-end features, according to the listing on Realtor.com, including:
Formal “great room”
Junior dining room
Chef’s kitchen
Guest suite
Screening room
L-shaped swimming pool
Gym
Three-car garage
Koi pond
According to the Los Angeles Times, Rapke added some new amenities, including a glass garage door.
Rapke’s recent projects include the remake of “The Witches” and the Tom Hanks post-apocalyptic film “Finch,” IMDb says.
