An 8-month-old child was killed on Monday, July 25, when a semi crashed into a home, Wisconsin cops say.

The crash happened around 6 p.m. Monday in Winnebago County, about 90 miles northwest of Milwaukee. A 63-year-old driver of the semi was traveling on Interstate 41 when, for unknown reasons, the semi veered off the road and went through the fence line, the sheriff’s office said.

The semi then crossed a road running parallel to the interstate and crashed into the home, according to the sheriff’s office.

First responders found the 8-month-old baby boy dead at the scene. His identity has not been publicly disclosed.

The driver of the semi sustained minor injuries, according to the sheriff.
