A skier missing for two days was found dead by search and rescue teams in Utah, news outlets said.

The 37-year-old skier was expected to get back at 2 p.m. on Dec. 12 from Solitude Mountain Resort in Solitude, according to KUTV.

As the evening approached, the man hadn’t returned to his car, and he was reported missing around 6:30 p.m., according to the outlet.

The search and rescue teams made Solitude’s lodge their headquarters but were looking on and around the mountain as they didn’t have the skier’s exact location, according to FOX 13.

The man’s “body was found at 8:15 a.m. on Dec. 13 in a cluster of trees by Sensation ski run,” according to FOX 13.

“No foul play is suspected and officials report he was wearing all the proper equipment at the time of the incident,” according to FOX 13.

The name of the skier who died has not been released.

Solitude Mountain Resort has 1,200 ski-able acres and 82 named runs, according to its website.

Solitude is about 30 miles southeast of Salt Lake City.
