Man is fatally shot in back during fight inside fast food restaurant, Illinois cops say
A 32-year-old man was shot in the back after he and another man got into a fight inside the lobby of a fast food restaurant, according to police in Illinois.
Officers with the Chicago Police Department responded to the West Pullman neighborhood restaurant shortly after 11 p.m. Sunday, June 18, according to an incident report.
The 32-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
A homicide investigation into the shooting is ongoing. No arrests have been made as of 1 a.m. Monday.
Authorities have not provided the name of the restaurant, the identity of the victim or information on a suspect.
