A Missouri woman just won $1 million playing the lottery. She’s no stranger to big wins.

The woman, who has not been identified, bought her winning ticket at a Casey’s General Store in Potosi, according to a July 26 news release from the Missouri Lottery.

“I started scratching and the fifth number I scratched (and matched) on the top row had a $1 million prize,” she told lottery officials.

She previously won $100,000 by playing the lottery in another state, officials said.

Officials didn’t say what she intends to do with her winnings.

Potosi is located about 70 miles southwest of St. Louis.

Many people can gamble or play games of chance without harm. However, for some, gambling is an addiction that can ruin lives and families.

If you or a loved one shows signs of gambling addiction, you can seek help by calling the national gambling hotline at 1-800-522-4700 or visiting the National Council on Problem Gambling website.
