Charming estate featured on hit HGTV show lands on Mississippi market. Check it out
The hit HGTV show “Home Town” has wowed audiences for seven season and now, one of Erin and Ben Napier’s handiwork has landed on the real estate market in Laurel, Mississippi, for $299,900.
However, the home may have been quickly snapped up since it’s now in a “pending” state.
The three-bedroom, two-bathroom residence — named The Carson House — was featured in Season 1 of the show, which is about the Napier duo renovating houses using materials “and old textiles,” on an episode titled “Military Family Finds Small Town Charm.”
“Everything [the Napiers] did for the episode—it just adds so much character” listing agent Lauren Bynum told Realtor. “Even with the market being slower, we knew it was gonna go fast.”
The updates definitely added much needed character to the 2,109-square-foot home, which was built in 1934, and comes with numerous features including:
Country kitchen
New gas range
Walk-in pantry
Fireplace
Formal dining room
Sunroom
Episode 10 of the season revolves around the married couple helping out a serviceman and his spouse find the perfect home and extending onto it.
