A woman was arrested after being accused of robbing people at knifepoint outside a concert arena, Oregon police said.

On Dec. 7, Angelique Butler, 52, approached two people camped outside ahead of a Billie Eilish concert and threatened them with a knife, demanding their sleeping bag from them, according to a news release by Portland police and a report by KATU.

“She had a knife under her shirt. My mom saw it, and (the woman) was kind of taunting us. ‘You need to either give me your money or your sleeping bag,’” one of the victims, Jessica Bailey, told KOIN. “Another gentleman came up. He was riding his bike. He looked homeless, too. He was just riding his bike down the street, not doing anything wrong. Then, she saw him and started yelling at him.”

Police officers searched the area and eventually found Butler before arresting her and booking her into the Multnomah County Detention Center on robbery, menacing and disorderly conduct charges, police said.

There was also a report of a man having been stabbed, but police were unable to find him and do not know if he was injured, officials said.

“My family, we’re still staying here tonight. My mom and dad are staying here tonight, but me and my friend and my sister are going to a hotel tonight to be safe,” Bailey told KOIN. “It’s an interesting experience. It’s a lot more than I thought.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact crimetips@police.portlandoregon.gov, police said.
