A poker player scored a big jackpot in Las Vegas after playing for more than an hour.

Now the gambler is $128,774 richer.

The lucky visitor from Indiana sat at a Mississippi Stud poker table Thursday, May 29, at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, the casino said in a news release.

The man ended up with a royal flush, the rarest hand in the game.

A royal flush happens when a player’s winning cards are an ace, king, queen, jack and 10 in the same suit, according to Upswing Poker.

He has plans to invest his money and use some of it to come back to Vegas, “crediting his wife and friend as good luck charms,” the casino said.

Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino is central on the Las Vegas Strip.

Many people can gamble or play games of chance without harm. However, for some, gambling is an addiction that can ruin lives and families.

If you or a loved one shows signs of gambling addiction, you can seek help by calling the national gambling hotline at 1-800-522-4700 or visiting the National Council on Problem Gambling website.
